Purpose & Scope

This Quality Assurance Manual outlines the policies and procedures to ensure that Kognitive Networks delivers high-quality software and hardware solutions that meet or exceed customer expectations and comply with all regulatory requirements.

This manual applies to all processes and personnel involved in the development, testing, delivery, and support of Kognitive Networks' software and hardware products.

Definitions

  • RMA (Return Merchandise Authorization): The process for returning a product to receive a refund, replacement, or repair during the product's warranty period.

  • ATP (Acceptance Test Procedure): The detailed specific plan / procedure followed to verify and validate that the product meets the defined requirements and specifications

  • SUT (Software Under Test): The specific software application or component being evaluated during testing. The SUT is assessed through various test cases to verify its functionality, performance, and compliance with requirements, aiming to identify and resolve any defects or issues before release.

  • DUT (Device Under Test): The specific hardware device or component being evaluated during testing. The DUT is assessed through various test cases and measurements to verify its functionality, performance, and compliance with standards, aiming to identify and resolve any defects or issues before release.

  • TC (Test Case): Structured scenarios used to verify that specific functionalities of the Software Under Test (SUT) or Device Under Test (DUT) meet the expected outcomes. Each test case includes defined steps, expected results, and actual outcomes to determine if the product behaves as intended.
