Hardware Branding

Summary

There are distinct options for hardware branding, based on each device type. The following table summarizes the options, and detailed descriptions of implementation follow.

EdgePro – Kognitive Networks Branded

Option 1 & 2: As-is or self-labeled

The newest EdgePro is simply marked with the “Kognitive Networks” logo. The logo can be covered with a rectangular sticker 1.00” x 0.654” (25.4mm x 16.6mm) with 0.05” (1.27mm) radius corners.

The Kognitive Networks Edge hardware will be supplied as-is, with the ‘Kogntiive’ branding.  The customer may source their own labels or modify the device to meet their marketing strategy. Older hardware is labeled ‘K4Edge’ and the cover up stickers are not compatible with the new ‘Kognitive Networks’ branding.

Note: It is recommended to keep the original manufacturer labels on the device that show manufacturing model number and origin, for import / export purposes. Contact Kognitive Networks product team for more details.

Self – Labeled

Sourcing die-cut or laser cut labels from a label/decal manufacturer can be an effective way to brand the product, applying the label in-house before deploying to an end customer. Please contact the Product Team at Kognitive Networks if you require 3D models (.step files) for the front and back panel. The dimensions are noted for reference and budgeting:

Option 3: Screen Printed Logo and text

A long lead / high volume option is to design the name plates for all devices.  There is a minimum order quantity (MOQ) and longer lead time for this option.  Please contact the product team at Kognitive Networks for a design template and to finalize your design:

EdgeFit

The EdgeFit is a compact network appliance in a metal, fan-less case. The bottom surface and one of the end panels each have custom stickers. The bottom sticker describes the ports and the side panel sticker is a 4-color logo for the brand, labeled ‘K4Edge’, but there is no specific product name written on the device.

The Kognitive Networks Edge hardware will be supplied as-is, with the ‘Kognitive Networks’ branding.  The customer may source their own labels or modify the device to meet their marketing strategy.

Some customers may want to keep the bottom label with connector text, but simply remove the graphic picture on the side panel.

The EdgeFit uses a ‘kiss cut’ laser cut sticker, which is a custom form-cut outline with a removable center sticker. The removable center sticker exposes a cutout for the original manufacturer’s part number, serial number, and origin information.

Any portion of this label can have company-specific branding; the center-cut sticker fits on the EdgeFit end panel, which creates a complete branded solution.

The actual label dimensions are 4.30” x 3.20” [ 109mm x 81mm] with a 1.575” x 0.79” [40 mm x 20mm] center-cut sticker. The magenta lines in the graphic below indicate the cut lines.

Ascent Modem

The Ascent Modem will be supplied as-is, with the ‘K4Edge’ or ‘Kognitive Networks’ branding. 

For larger volume orders, a customer logo can be applied on the back label.
